Members of the parliament meet with Jordan Strategy Forum to discuss latest amendments on Tax Law

On Sunday 3/6/2018, MPs from “Hadathah wa Tanmiah” met with the Jordan Strategy Forum to discuss JSF comments and view on the Tax Law and its latest amendments, JSF also presented its recommendations on the new Tax Law.

The Companies’ Controller Ramzi Nuzha, and JSF CEO Hala Zawati signed a Memorandum of Understanding between The Companies Control Department and the Jordan Strategy Forum. The MoU aims to strengthen cooperation on research that will actively help in promoting investment and economic development in Jordan.

Jordan Strategy Forum hosted H.E. Dr. Jafar Hassan - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and H.E. Mr. Omar Malhas - Minister of Finance, to discuss the new amendments to Income Tax Law. The session was attended by H.E. Dr. Omar Razzaz, Minister of Education, and H.E. Eng. Yarub Qudah, Minister of Industry and Trade, and the Income and Sales Tax Department Director General Hussam Abu Ali and JSF members.

Abdelilah Khatib, JSF Chairman, with 48 members of the Forum, the legal advisor and the external auditor of the Forum. The meeting was followed by a session with Companies’ Controller H.E. Ramzi Nuzha, to discuss the new amendments on Companies Law.
