The Jordan Strategy Forum hosted the Senior Consultant for Development Strategy and Social Policy as well as Research Fellow at the Lebanese Center for Research Studies in Beirut, Dr. Zafiris Tzannatos, on the 15^th of January 2019. Dr. Tzannatos, along with the Minister of Labor, H.E. Mr. Samir Murad, the Director General of the Department of Statistics, H.E. Dr. Qassim Al-Zoubi, and a number of JSF members and scholars, discussed the impact of the labor market on economic growth and job creation. By the end of the session, the discussion successfully highlighted the importance of education, equal opportunities for genders, voice and accountability, mitigation of brain drain, and capacity building to promoting economic growth.
