The Ministry of Social Development and UNICEF, in collaboration with the Jordan Strategy Forum and the Chambers of Industry and Commerce, organized a consultative session to discuss the draft general framework of the National Social Protection Strategy (2025-2033). The session was attended by representatives from the ministry, private sector companies that are members of the forum, and representatives from the Chambers of Industry and Commerce.
This session was part of a series of national consultations conducted by the Ministry of Social Development to update the National Social Protection Strategy (2025-2033). These consultations included various sectors, including civil society and the private sector, to discuss the priorities and proposed policies that will shape the general framework of the strategy.
The session aimed to strengthen the role of the private sector in designing and implementing social protection policies and to ensure the integration of efforts across different sectors to support inclusive economic growth.
Additionally, the session featured an interactive discussion, where representatives from the private sector and chambers raised questions and inquiries about the proposed strategy's pillars and implementation mechanisms. They also provided suggestions to help formulate comprehensive and effective recommendations that contribute to inclusive economic growth and social justice.
