The Jordan Strategy Forum had conducted a study addressing the relaxation of Rules of Origin with European Union, in light of on-going negotiations. The study concludes that relaxing Rules of Origin is indeed a necessary step towards reviving Jordanian exports and improving the Kingdom’s trade transactions. However, this initiative must be accompanied with a number of measures that would further facilitate trade to Europe and alleviate the different impediments faced by Jordanian industrialists and exporters.
