Round Table Discussion with the IMF Mission

As part of the visit of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation to Jordan to discuss the financial reform program, The Jordan Strategy Forum (JSF) met with the IMF’s Mission Chief to Jordan, Martin Cerisola and his team, to discuss the impact of the program and the extent of its forecasted economic success. During the meeting, the JSF reviewed with the IMF team a number of key macroeconomic issues, including public debt, unemployment, the electricity sector and the tangible factors that contribute to economic growth. The meeting also reviewed current government policies and stressed on the need for job opportunities for Jordan’s youth and women.
